A bath and lip routine, not a treatment
Hello again.
Not every post has to be about labels, milligrams and regulators (although, as you’ve probably noticed, we’re quite fond of those). This one’s a bit gentler. It’s about our bath bombs and lip balms, and how they can fit into a bit of time at home.
Let’s be clear from the start: these are cosmetics, and this is a routine, not a treatment. It’s about the ritual: the scent, the warm water, ten minutes that are just yours. We’re not going to tell you they’ll do anything for your body or your mood, because that isn’t something we can promise.
The bath bombs
Every one of our bath bombs contains 100mg of CBD. There are five to choose from:
- Natural: no added scents, for when you’d rather keep it simple
- Relaxation: with lavender, geranium and clary sage
- Fruity: with rhubarb and plum
- For Him
- For Her
The 100mg is the total CBD in the whole bath bomb, which dissolves into a full bath of water. It’s a bath product, so it’s there for the experience of the bath itself.
The lip balms
Our lip balms each contain 100mg of CBD and come in five flavours:
- Natural
- Strawberry and Lime
- Pina Colada
- Honey
- Cherry
They’re small enough to live in a coat pocket or by the bed, and they make a nice full stop at the end of the evening.
A simple evening at home
There’s no right way to do this, but here’s a routine you might like to borrow:
- Pick your moment. Choose an evening when you’re not rushing off anywhere. Put your phone in another room if you can bear it.
- Run the bath. Whatever temperature you find comfortable. Light a candle if that’s your thing (somewhere safe, away from towels).
- Choose your bath bomb. Go by scent: herbal, fruity, or Natural if you’d rather have no added fragrance at all.
- Drop it in and watch it fizz. Honestly, this is half the fun.
- Take your time. A book, a podcast, some music, or nothing at all. Ten or twenty minutes with nobody needing anything from you.
- Finish up. Towel off, put the kettle on, and add a swipe of lip balm in your favourite flavour.
That’s it. Nothing clever, just a bit of time set aside for yourself, which most of us don’t do often enough.
A few common-sense notes
- Bath bombs are for the bath and lip balms are for lips. Neither is for eating.
- Keep them out of reach of children and pets.
- If you know you react to particular fragrances, check what’s in a product before you use it, or go for the Natural bath bomb, which has no added scents.
- If anything doesn’t agree with you, stop using it.
A ritual, not a remedy
We think there’s real value in a routine that makes an ordinary evening feel a bit special. That’s what these products are for in our book: a nice bath and a nice lip balm. No big promises attached.
If you’d like to know more about any of the scents or flavours, email help@cbdhealthyliving.co.uk and we’ll tell you what we know.
Enjoy your evening,
